Woodmen of the World

Founded in 1890, Woodmen of the World (WOW) is a leading fraternal benefit insurance organization with 800,000 members nationwide. WOW had little advertising history until 2006 when S+A created "Buddy," the Yellow Labrador at the center of WOW's new advertising campaign. Since 2006, "Buddy’s" popularity has continued to grow and so has WOW’s brand recognition. "Buddy" and his WOW family have now starred in eight TV commercials. 2010 finds "Buddy" playing with some new additions to his family, and going for a walk amongst the Redwoods in Big Basin State Park.

Central Bank

Central Bank is a community bank based in Kentucky. Increased competition from national competitors made it increasingly difficult for Central Bank to compete. S+A created a TV and print campaign that highlighted Central Bank’s local heritage, and its commitment to building strong customer relations. Following the advertising campaign, Central Bank retained its #2 market position, while expanding into four new markets. In fact, soon after the advertising launched, Central Bank surpassed $1 billion in assets. With increased assets and a strongly reinforced customer service image, Central Bank was very pleased with the success of its advertising campaign.

Republic Bank

Republic Bank is a mid-size bank with 44 banking centers in Kentucky, Indiana, Florida and Ohio. Public perception was that Republic Bank only handled personal accounts, retail accounts and mortgages. The bank wanted to change that perception by informing the public about its commercial banking capabilities. S+A created a print campaign that highlighted Republic Bank’s commercial banking expertise. Following the campaign, Republic Bank felt that public and business sector opinions had changed, and that Republic Bank was now viewed as a credible source for commercial credit and sound commercial banking advice.
